I’m starting to realize that I really need to get things together for this little lady’s arrival.  Any tips or advice for preparing for baby?

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!  I will be celebrating all of 2010’s blessings with my siblings and looking forward to what 2011 holds!

My Christmas

Have you been wondering what was in the package????  I was so excited to open it and now I can’t wait to use it…

DSC07604 A baby wrap from Lovey Duds!  It’s a bit of a funky fit right now because of my belly, but I can tell I’m going to LOVE it.  I think it’s going to be super comfy!  Oh, and don’t mind how messed up the straps are.  I was too excited to be patient and put it on properly…

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!  It is always such a busy time, but also a great time to be thankful for so many things.  I am especially thankful for my family and the time we were able to spend with them.  Did I mention how spoiled my baby already is?  She got lots of gifts for Christmas.  Grandma and Grandpa got her this horse:

I cannot believe another month has already gone by!  I have a very busy month of January with baby showers and such, so I know time is just going to keep flying by.

On a different note, I would like to say life is precious.  Not only this little life that is growing inside of me, but all of God’s creations!  Today I received a phone call saying that my uncle passed away this morning.  He was a semi truck driver for a logging company and was killed when his semi rolled, spilled it’s logs and went into the ditch.  Such a tragic was to lose a loved one.  He was only 59 years old and the cause of the accident is still unknown.

Always be thankful for life and loved ones.  You never know when you won’t get to see them again.  Even when it might be uncomfortable, tell the people in your life how much you love them.  Family is one of God’s greatest gifts!  Cherish it!

I hate waiting…

Today, this came in the mail:

and I can’t open it!  I know what it is, because it’s what I asked my husband for as a Christmas gift.  But, he said I can’t open it until Christmas.  I hate waiting!  He wants to wrap it for me…

So, for now I’m going to finish sewing what I need to sew today and have some cookies and hot chocolate.

{Just a hint, it’s from Lovey Duds and it’s for the baby.  I could not be more excited!  I’ll share what it is once I get to open it!}

Have a great weekend!

28 Weeks?!?!

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by.  Really, every week seems to go by faster and faster.  Maybe it’s just the time of year and being so busy preparing for Christmas.

I am definitely feeling and seeing  Baby move a lot.  It is such an awesome feeling to know life is growing inside of me.  Thankfully, I can say I’m still feeling great.  The only thing I’ve really noticed is a bit of heartburn.  It’s crazy to think that in less than 3 months I will have a baby!  We are so excited!
